I noticed alot of people are getting crashing to desktops and such with Rainbow Six 3.

Rainbow Six 3 is hard on your hardware.
Alot of times it will crash and you'll get a video driver error of some sort and think it's your video card.

Not always the case, when the power supply goes into fail safe your PC will crash and show an error of whatever device made it go down, usually the Video, sound or CPU, and in some case ram.

Here's a nice article on power supplys and what you need.

It's kinda dated almost a year 4\03 but it gives you a great idea as to how you should go about getting a power supply.
