I just need a gentle "nudge"... no spoiler/walkthru please!
I have opened all of the tusks, the color combo, the "no bridge" one, and the cave one, as well as the main/lab one. What I can't seem to find is any type of clue that will help me w/ the ball settings on the devices inside the 3 outer tusks. Could someone nudge me in the right direction? I'm afraid to ride the elevator because of crazy dude at the top - not sure I have all the pieces yet to confront him. Or is that exactly what I need to do?
Thanks in advance!

You are correct. You must fix and ride the elevator to the top. When you get there observe the old guy and what he does. After he is gone the elevator door will then unlock and let you in to the top room. Look around and touch everthing in the room. That is also where you will develop the marble puzzle solutions. You will meet Saav later in the game.
Fix the mechanisms under the elevator first and then the elevator will take you to the top correctly.

That worked! Thanks much! I now see where the codes are. I'll have to do some rework to figure out which one goes with which tusk (wasn't paying that much attention!)
But - I can't seem to figure out what the goal of the levers & moving the balls is...something to do w/ the focus (??) I'll try again tomorrow. Maybe it will come to me while I'm sleeping. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif
In each viewer there is a image that links the tusk with the same image.
Three controls are zoom, drag, focus.
These actions define the marble positions.

All I can say save of giving a spoiler is whatever you do it must be crystal clear and fitting like a glove! ( you"ll have to work with the levers a lot) http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
Good luck!
