Microsoft just released critical updates for windows xp. Go get em. Isnt it amazing how insecure Wxp is? Theres always a vulnerability in the programs we use most. And they never seem to be eradicated. What can MS do to make this OS more secure. Its ridiculous.

The only secure computer is one that isn't plugged in http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Most of these "vulnerabilities" aren't much anyways if you have the proper securities in effect (firewalls, etc), and if you actually know how to use a computer.

Atleast they're patching all the holes they find.

Its not like Linux, Unix, MacOS, or any others are entirely secure.

It because n00bs don't use Windows Update or anti virus & firewall software, most of the worms etc, that goes around only targets unpatched and unprotected software.

Ppl just need to update their software etc, and most of the threats go away.

And Linux isn't nessaceary more secure than Windows OS link (http://www.techworld.com/security/news/index.cfm?NewsID=1329&Page=1&pagePos=6) link2 (http://www.nwfusion.com/news/2002/1029mscert.html)

It just as when ppl are bashing Ubi Soft, it become standard reply to blame MS or Ubi Soft for everything http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/52.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/88.gif

A whole lot of these "holes" are nonexistant if you have the firewall enabled.
