typ in "http://192.168.2.1/" this should get you to your router.
Follow the instructions in the router manual.

Of course it didn't work. scworld, not everyone's router IP is the same, NOT EVERYONE HAS THE SAME ROUTER. Consult your router's documentation, there it will explain the port fowarding process and how to open ports, as well as your router's ip adress that you need to type into your browser so that you can access your router's settings. If you do not have the documentation, consult the website, that is where I found out how to do mine. If you have trouble understanding (I did) then msg me on aim (in my sig) when I get back from school.

I opened the ports in my firewall's main interface. I have McAfee. Do you have a firewall?

Check your routers documentation.

If your using a microsoft router, the default password is admin

if you cant find your routers documentation, find the name of it (should be on the router) and search for "port forwarding Routername" on google.

Let me know if you're using a LinkSYS BEFSR41 v.3 Router. If so, I can lead you step by step through the setup.

(Note though), that I am one of the people who can HOST and JOIN games, but I cannot SEE games. I've yet to find whether this is dependant on my router config (which I have forwarded all ports specified), or a game/server problem with SC:PT itself.

Go to 192.168.1.1 and leave user blank but for password type in admin when you get in go to applications and gaming and click on dmz, enter your IP adress and click enable then click save. To find your IP go to controll panel then network connections, double click on the router you have and it will show the ip in one of the tabs, this is for xp, xp pro, and a linksys router
