Hi all

I don't post much on the forums, but I do play allot of MP! I was just curious if anyone has called someone out?
Has anyone gotten so mad at another, on the boards, that they have to take it outside. I mean inside/game. It would so cool
if Flamers, or what ever, could call someone out for flaming or something. "Hey you called me and idiot on the boards, so I'm
going to kick your *** in a bout match! I would love to see a server, say every Tuesday night, have bouts.
Standing around watching two guys that are pissed at each other over
chit chat on the forums would rock!! Just a thought

Hi
What a coincidence, we were just talking about game violence impacting real violence. You are proposing the opposite. If you have a real beef with someone, take it to the game and blow his virtual head off. But its only a game!
Not very satisfying I'm afraid. There is no substitute for real damage.

Be no need to have a server set aside on a set day, just set up your own server, password it and get the person you want to beat down on join it. So, doing it like this means you can do it any hour or any day.

I was thinking more of a Fight Club of sorts. Where everyone else waiting to fight gets to watch the two battle it out for a few mins.
It would be some what humiliating with all the on lookers. But I agree no where near as gratifying as face to face!

Huntsman: I think the point this poster is making is that he wants to *see* the taunts and flames and the public humiliation of two battling enemies. "Standing around watching" means spectator mode like the Roman Colliseum as gladiators fight it out.

Yes I understand what he means, but it wouldn't work, and hence why I said what I said. If you put up a fight club server affair people that didn't know what it was would join and jump straight into play. If you set it up yourself you can still have anyone that wants to come along to watch or wait thier turn. You would have to do it through a forum though and passcode the game for it to work really though, and you could bet you'd still get some lamer think it fun to join and try killing both player or one etc.
Would need some fairly tight controlling if it were to work, but the ideas not a bad one. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
