Hi, I currently have a laptop with ATI 64mb Mobility Radeon 9000 graphics card in. I need to keep a laptop for work, but could upgrade it to an Acer with a 128mb Mobility Radeon 9600. Will the game support this graphics card? At the moment the game will play but i have some errors, lowest graphics, and its crashed a few times. Thanks

it should work if you upgrade to 128 mb gpu. however, it would be good if you upgrade your RAM too.
cheers

Almost no laptops allow you to upgrade the vid chip without upgrading the whole motherboard. IBM's latest laptop is touting an upgradeable vid chip, though. I have an Alienware Area 51m with the ATI Mobility Radeon 9000. When I purchased this laptop, I thought the vid chip was upgradeable -- one of the major factors I chose Alienware. Turns out you cannot upgrade the vid chip--unless you want a whole new MB!

i've got a 2.4ghz 512ddr ram 128 radeon 9000 mobility fortune technologies system.

i can play the game at 1024 with a few settings at medium. except vehicles seem to kill the fps down to at least -30 fps lol. i dunno why and i really hope its fixed in the final
