PC Gamer demo help

I just installed the Far Cry demo from PC Gamer. The installation went fine, and I launched the demo. When I started the single-player mission, it loads up, but then the picture is really messed up. I can see the gun, and some of the terrain, but most is blurred and undistinguishable. I have sound and I can move around (somewhat). Here are my specs...

Pentium 4 2.4GHz
GeForce4 ti4200 128MB
512 MB RAM

I had the samething, but it only happened to me when I juacked up the video options... try putting everything to medium. Do you have an ATI vid card?

He obviously doesn't have an ATI videocard if he has a GeForce 4.

anyways asgdfsdf, try installing the new drivers from the NVidia site for your videocard. that's the only advice i have.

There's a complete thread on your card problem (TI4200) already. Check the rest of threads. It has your card name right on the heading with a direct link to the driver you need. It worked for me. Good luck

I got it to work. My installation of DX9.0b had failed, so I re-installed it. Thanks for the help though.
