if they have best buy where you live go grab a ATI RADEON 9000 for $80. it is compatible and it does work fine. i was in the exact same situation.(PS: dont get the FX 5200. it looks better but its not.}

Will an FX 5200 run this game though as it seems to be the cheapest I can find right now

yes it iwll.. but some guys said it was very slow.. so try the fx5600 or 5700 ultra good mid-range cards.. not expensive
