Stuck in the lava room

I need help again. Iâ´m stuck in the lava room. There seems to be very little I can do here, I can open the door to the red and blue tunnells. I can see the molten lava through the glass. It cannot reach the other end of this room. It looks like something should be done in that end?? I have fixed the power cylinder generators!

There's a little control panel in this room, play around with that. It's a VERY persnickity little device (I quickly grew to hate it, myself http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif) so take it slow when you manipulate it. Have you been downstairs yet?

I think I found the little device ( close to the lava-glass ) - But I can only make it give a clicking sound; nothing happens!

The red knob only moves in a circular motion, and you can only move it about a quarter of the way before the program completes the move. That knob empties the room you see through the glass, so you can enter that room and continue on to reach the fan switch. Be patient, that knob has caused many to become very frustrated.

The device you're looking for is a handle with a red knob. It is set in a round track with another track through the middle, but someone (probably Saavedro) has sabotaged it by hammering a rivet into the track through the middle. This means you can only turn the handle round...which is hard to do because the game interface doesn't work that well at this point.
