multiplayer Q

I was playing the Demo and this game is great
my question is if I buy a game used (was looking on amazon.com)and the person who owned it before me has played the multiplayer version already, will I be able to play the multiplayer version as well. or will the CD-Key not work cause it's been used once, or am I better off just buying a new never been used before version ?? I don't wana go and try and save a few bucks and find out a used game is useless.

also is there a difference in the Redstorm vs. UBI soft versions ?? as I have seen both for sale.

buy a new version.

you might end up buying a cd key that has been globally banned from punkbuster and never be able to play.
