ive played 44 games got a 25% win ratio and won 11 games because of me being on randome team against a well trained clan. i just came froma game iworked real hard on deftec against b.i.t.c.h snd managed to get one all by myself and my teamate ran around spy area shocking the trains like a ******! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/crazy.gif, this cannot be worse for me someone plz partner up with my and end my agony, i just cant take much more of this! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

im feeling ya bud, i know what you mean. luckilly fo me i have found 2 team mates who i work excellently with, but not all are so lucky. my advice is not play any ranked games untill you find a decent team mate. the best way to do this, is not to advertise you are looking for one, but to play with ppl until you find a good one. when you find a partner who just clicks with your style of play, add him/her to friends, get thier MSN or AOL screenanmes if poss, and arrange a few more games.

HEY COKES.........my friend samiam_sneaky needs a partner!! Join up with him.

Arucars-San, samiam_sneaky, and I are always playing around (these are all based on pacific time) 11:30p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and we pick back up at 3:30 to 7 p.m. And usually we always play a lot on the weekends....

Well, I play the game every now and again, never had a steady partner, and odds are never will. I don't play to often so if I had a partner he'd leave me. In any case, I will be a wonderer, and will hope to make my way up the list as "the player with no teamate".

When I started, I'm sure many people thought the same way of me. Nobody really wants to be teamed with a noob, but we all gotta remember that we were noobs at one point.

I've been happy with the skills that I have learned, and my kill ratio has been going up. (More Spies tagged with STs, more spies killed with Mines, more spies sniped, better ratio of "frag artillery" kills, knowing where to be, developing game tactics, use of comms, familiarity with maps, and so much more.

I REALLY enjoy a game, whether I win or lose, if I see good tactics being used in it.

ie, last night I asked if a spy wanted to 1v1 til more people came. Sure enough, he wanted Vertigo. With a 1v1 it can take a Merc up to 40-50 seconds to get to opposing areas of the map. Enough time to neutralize 1 and get off scott free, or 2 and chance an encounter with the Merc.

Anyways, sure enough, he gets the first 2 without me even being able to trap and mine the first building.

I don't know how I did it, but I won the game (he didn't make a move for 4 minutes at one time) After he hit the area I had mined up, I camped there until he made his last move, where I barged in (Library) and kept him from the ND133.

What tactics were there? NONE! That's why I hated it. And he even had a HUGE handicap on me too! :s

Well you need a partner now do you? people not getting "ownee...d" by you anymore? poor sod. Best advice play with as many people as possible and chat to them. Develop a little friendship and see if you and them are a good team.

whoever said to get xfire should be shot!, it almost killed my internet, i phoned isp to find out why net wasn't working and after about an hour i had to delete winsock and winsock2 from the registry and reinstall tcp/ip cause it was corrupt! warning do not download this!

I'm sorry about your bad experience but don't advocate shooting me, ok?

Xfire is by far the best PM utility for gamers. It's very well-coded and works beautifully with my system. All of my gaming buddies use it, the friends and friends-of-friends list is terrific and the profiles tell you what everybody has been playing and for how many hours. The best thing about it is the ability to launch almost any MP game within Xfire and anybody else logging in will be able to locate you within the game.

I'm sorry that it won't run on your system but it's a great and trouble-free resource for thousands of gamers.

Any one of those comments would get this gentleman booted from my server and permanently blacklisted before he could say "Heil Hitler". And because he doesn't have a mic he actually had to stop playing in order to _type_ this venom. Thanks for the heads-up, Cardshark. I don't need pollution like that in my life.
