Not you, but you can tell that there are a LOT of teenagers on this board, not to mention a few that are older and act like teens. Teens tend to be VERY critical and post childish answers. Also, you may see them use a lot of colored names and in other games, use a lot of hexed names.

Hey I'm a teen and i make fun of people for that...people are just trying to get noticed with there comments and since no one can really do anything about it they think its cool.

I was almost going to say that I have all you whipper-snappers beat.....I'm 40 here so don't feel too bad.
Reminds me of something that happend to me a long while back. I was in Toys-R-Us one time looking around to see if they had any new Playstation games in. Next to me looking around as well was this big burly truck driver looking dude.
He was looking at some kind of cheat or hints and tips magazine for Mario Bros.
We started talking and he turned to me and said that he was trying to find out how to get out of Gum drop land. I had to turn my head cause I about laughed my butt off. Here was this big o'l dude who had to be in his mid to late 50's who could have easily wiped the floor with my head trying to figure how to get out of Gum drop land....ROFL

Just goes to show you that there are hard core gamers from all ages.

lets all conclude that we are all very sad, and must keep our gaming habits away from the prying eyes of normal society

I'm a very jaded 21 and this is the first forum Ive ever been on. I notice alot of animosity to new posters who either don't have their graphic settings all the way up, or who happen to innocently ask a question that's already been answered in another post. Sorry to say I don't put alot of stock in this forum thing and can't decide whether it's conducive to gaming in any way shape or fashion. But a few days ago I had the good fortune to come across this gem of a game and decided to check these forums to see if anyone felt the same way. Haven't felt this good about any game since Half-Life. Besides, no game has ever forced my hand in such a way as to sit down for any length of time and type to complete strangers...

damn.... must be a good game. All of us old timers seem to be interested. :-)

XyZspineZyX

It can be helpful plus you can find out the latest news on what's going on. Of coarse you have a lot of different kinds of people from all age groups so things can get varied at times, but for the most part it can be enjoyable.
I just wish this forum had more sections like a general section, bugs and fixes, mods, etc. just to keep things organized.
Well when the multiplayer part comes out and you're on-line, just keep an eye out for -WOODY- which is the name I always go by. Just look for the guy with the rocket launcher ever clutched in his white-knuckled hands lol.

40 and a damn sight sadder than the rest of you.
In fact, I was probably already a tragic waste of space before you were even conceived. So I win. Obviously.

By the way, my PC runs the Far Cry demo like a silk dream wrapped in silk and tied up with a nice silk bow. Thank you, Crytek, thank you very much.
