Feeling Dumb, need help!

I just got the game as a gift, and made it through the training with no problem. First mission, and I can't get out the yard. Need help or I'm trashing the game.

Try using stealth and listening to Lambert. Go under ythe bridge slowly when the guard isn't looking. It's not run and gun.
