cant enter the game after install new cdrw

WINXP Splintercell pandora 1.2

I got new CDRW and I installed it with my Old CDROM, it can read data but both of them cant use to play this game

"Cannot locate the CD-ROM
CD/DVD emulation software has been detected . Please disable all CD/DVD emulation software and re-start the game"

I haven't got any emulation software running. (checked from task manager)
Please help, thank you.

unfortuantly, there is a bug which will not allow you to play if the disc is on a CDr drive - i get the same prob, if you have another drive, use that one.

I have a CDRW/DVD-RW drive and i dont have that problem. Strange thing is, i can play the game with emulation software, i just had to make an image of my own legal disk with a120% with safedisk3 and mount it and it worked just fine.

However I have a friend who has the same problem listed, and neither solution works =/
